Montenegro is live on Travelog with one city, Kotor, inscribed by UNESCO in 1979 and placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger that same year after an earthquake seriously damaged four Romanesque churches and the town walls, remaining on that danger list for 24 years until restoration, aided by UNESCO, was complete in 2003.

Kotor's UNESCO story starts with genuine disaster, the site spent 24 years on the Danger List starting the exact year of its own inscription, restored only through sustained, documented effort. Its landmark page is live now.
