Lazio

Lazio is the Italian region built around Rome, and today Rome is the only Lazio city Travelog covers, going deeper here than a single city page allows: its own dedicated guide plus standalone pages for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Pantheon, the three landmarks named first in UNESCO's own description of the Historic Centre of Rome.

Rome is Lazio's capital and the reason the region has a Travelog page at all today: everywhere else in Lazio, genuinely worth its own tourism story, doesn't yet have the depth of coverage this site requires before publishing. Rome's own guide covers the practical question of how many days to budget for the historic center; the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Pantheon each get their own page underneath it, since each is a distinct, independently ticketed site with its own history, not an interchangeable stop on the same afternoon.

  • Rome Italy's capital, and the single UNESCO listing covering its entire historic center, now split into a city guide plus three standalone landmark pages.
