Italy is live on Travelog with all four planned cities: Rome and Florence, whose historic centers each carry a single UNESCO listing inscribed under five criteria; Milan, whose only UNESCO site is the one convent complex housing Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper; and Venice, whose city-and-lagoon listing holds all six UNESCO criteria, more than any other Travelog city.

Rome, Milan, Venice, and Florence are the four cities that complete Travelog's Italy coverage, and they show four different shapes of UNESCO recognition. Rome's and Florence's historic centres are each inscribed under the same five criteria, one covering nearly three millennia of layered history, the other a concentrated 600-year Renaissance burst. Milan's listing is the opposite of both: a single 1.5-hectare property, the smallest UNESCO footprint of any city on the site, built around one building and one painting, Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. Venice and its Lagoon goes further than all three: a 70,176-hectare property covering the city and its surrounding lagoon together, inscribed under all six possible UNESCO criteria, the most of any city Travelog has covered.
