Dubrovnik-Neretva County is Travelog's home for Dubrovnik, whose Old City was inscribed by UNESCO in 1979 and extended in 1994, then placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger in 1991 after armed conflict threatened monuments that had survived centuries and multiple earthquakes, remaining there until 1998 when Croatian government restoration, aided by a UNESCO contribution, brought it off the list.

Dubrovnik's documented Danger List history, seven years following genuine armed-conflict damage, is worth knowing before walking its restored walls today, live below with its full landmark coverage.
