Vienna is Travelog's home for the Historic Centre of Vienna, inscribed by UNESCO in 2001 under criteria (ii), (iv), and (vi), and placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger in July 2017 over concerns that a planned high-rise development would damage the site's outstanding value, a genuine dispute only resolved when the site was removed from that danger list in 2024.
